  : The only thing I liked about this property is the neighborhood it was in. The neighborhood is very charming with great restaurants and shops. You can walk to.
  : There was nothing I liked about this hotel. Worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. Worse than a motel eight. Handicapped and nowhere on this site. Does it say they don’t have elevators. And no Bellman to help you with your luggage. Plus the hotel is haunted! I didn’t see anything about that, but there are ghosts on the third floor. I was on the second floor and heard major noises and clanking almost in my room, like through the air conditioning vents. I was so terrified I could barely sleep. And they act like you’re supposed to think it’s charming that there are ghosts in the hotel. That does not appeal to me and I did not see it on Booking.com for their hotel. So be warned. The bed is the worst bed I’ve ever been on. The room they put me in had carpets that were stained with what looked like oil. Big black stains on the chairs and the carpet. I didn’t even want to take my shoes off. The bathmat for the shower had a tear in it. This was the most god-awful filthy ridiculously bad hotel in every way. The towels are awful. The sheets are rough. The pillows are stiff. I couldn’t wait to leave. Total waste of money.

  : The hotel staff was very nice. I had made a request to have a downstairs room because we were bringing our bikes with us. They were not able to give us a downstairs room, but did allow us to store our bikes in the event center that was not being used that weekend. That was super helpful to us! The hotel has a lot of character and history and we enjoyed learning about that. The bed was very comfortable and the room was quiet even when the hotel was full. The air conditioner worked great too. The hotel is located across the street from the old train station, so we enjoyed pedaling the railbikes through the orange groves on the old railroad. We love anything bike oriented.
  : I think we had one of the older rooms that had not yet been refurbished. The carpet was old and stained and the shower was dismal. Maybe from the 70's? That bathroom was marginal at best. I did glance into some of the other rooms that looked much more updated. And for some reason, the tap water had a metal taste. Very bad! Drink only bottled water there. Also, there is no breakfast offered but an amazing Italian restaurant onsite.

  : Old, stained carpet in room looked like it wasn't even vacuumed. Hairs in between and on top of the sheets -- not acceptable. Hair on the toilet seat too -- yuck!

  : Glen Tavern Inn was a great place to stay. The staff were all very friendly, the restaurant and food were amazing and the little bar had a great Happy Hour. A fun experience
  : The rooms were nice and big, but our bed in particular was so soft we had very uncomfortable nights sleeping. The mattress folded in when you sat in it so sleeping wasn’t easy. Also our room had a layer of dust on top of all the light fixtures frames and door ways, it could have had a good wipe down

  : This is a very pleasant old inn with a lot of character and great potential. The grounds are lovely and the inn is fun to wander around and see the decor and history. The staff was also very kind.
  : There are some very needed upgrades to the rooms to measure up to a 3-star hotel rating and overall comfort for the price of the stay. The bathrooms reminded me of college dormitory bathrooms, with lack of effort for comfort and confidence in hygiene. Towels are cheap and even ripped when drying off. The bed could use new mattresses and even new bedding would add a lot to the room. Not much else needs to change in the room as it is understandable it is a historic site; however, I was not impressed with the overall comfort of our stay.
