  : The location
: Many things: BED BUGS, SMOKE SMELL IN ROOM, ROOMS WEREN’T READY UNTIL OVER AN HOUR AFTER CHECK IN TIME, A LOVE SEAT WAS SITTING OUTSIDE THE HOTEL ON TOP OF A PILE OF DIRT, BOARDED UP WINDOW , ROOM PHONES WEREN’T WORKING!

Disappointing

: The receptionist who checked us inorganic July 16 was helpful and friendly……
: The hotel is over 50 years old, and while the outside looks good , the inside is horrible. They are undergoing the renovations right now so it is a mess. I would never stay there again or recommend anyone to do so.

: The beds were clean. The room smelled good. Free breakfast.
: Pool was not available for use. The areas outside of the room were old and in need of updating. Ice machines on several floors did not work. The smell of the hotel overall was not good.

: Nothing it seemed nice on the outside
: There was no clear entrance or signage on the entry. There was visible dirt everywhere. The pool water was so dirty and cloudy visible debris did not swim. The room we were given was occupied. The staff gave us a different room and two days later they informed me I was being charged $250 for smoking in the room. When I called I spoke to the manager April I told her my wife and I do not smoke and when I asked which room she thought I stayed in she said 331 I told her no we switched rooms and she said oh to 342? So evidently she knew we weren’t in 331 then she asked if there was a Hispanic guy in 331 I said I didn’t know but the door was ajar and the tv was on with a bed sheet draped over it and the volume cranked. There was a man sitting outside of the room and stared at us when we entered and exited the room. The breakfast was pathetic the waffle iron was out of order the bar was out of order it was the worst experience at a lodging facility in all my years. We will never stay at a Laquinta again and will be telling everyone we know how disgusting it is. We are still waiting in the refund for $250
