  : Dinner and Breakfast was fabulous. Really good food prepared well. The staff at the hotel and tavern were so pleasant and accommodating. The tavern hosted several large parties the night we stayed. Everyone at the hotel came together to make sure everyone was well taken care of.This is a great old historic hotel and tavern. My spouse and I will definitely stay here again.
  : The only thing that would make this hotel better is to change the carpeting in the rooms. It is worn and stained in some areas. Otherwise, there really isn't anything major to complain about this hotel. It's an old historic hotel so it's easy to accept it the way it is due to its age.

  : great location, beautiful historic decor, comfy rooms and lots of perks in the room. The cook/waiter was amazing for breakfast as well.
  : common area carpets were dirty and stained. the place needs some tlc, though overall fairly nice. no one was there to work the front desk. I asked booking if I could pay when I arrived. my card was charged around 3pm. no one was working the front desk my entire stay to get someone to charge a different card. the hotel is too much of a hands off experience for a full service hotel. from check in to check out, with the exception of breakfast, plan to be on your own if you need anything.

  : enjoyed the breakfast and the area. The room was very nice being it had a second door that opened out to the smoking area. We have family living in the area and I plan to ask for the same room when we visit.
  : The mattress probably needs to be updated. when you go to get up you have to pull yourself out of recessed part of the mattress. If it`s part of the feel of old America, I think we can go with a more modern sleep experience.

  : breakfast is included but it was busy and only one person working. we waited to see where we should sit but the waitress was so busy that she never even saw us. we left.
