: The property itself is wonderful, just didn’t like the unit. Very disappointed
: Do not stay here! Where do I start!! This unit is very outdated to the point we didn’t want to sit down on the furniture. This unit needs remodeling very bad. The space of the unit is great, which as they state can hold 8 people but the sitting is ridiculous. There is one red couch which sits far back to the wall from the small tv which was very uncomfortable trying to watch tv with the family, 2 swivel chairs, and the rest of the furniture is kitchen chairs. Our first day the fire alarm went off and we couldn’t get it to stop. Finally got in touch with management of the property which advised us to unscrew the alarm and take battery out. The floors was dirty to the point we couldn’t walk around barefoot due to the floor was filled with sand and our feet will be black on bottom. Very dim lighting, Dish washer was still loaded with dishes, coloring from some kids was still in rooms and on the refrigerator, bathrooms very outdated and need cleaned, bed sheets was full of sand, candy paper was behind the master bedroom dresser. The stay was unpleasant and very uncomfortable. I am highly pissed because this vacation wasn’t cheap. I complained to management and all I was told is I’m sorry you had that you had that experience. I am shocked because we’ve stayed at Tidewater 5 times and each time the units was luxury. ~very upset customer
