  : We liked the staff and the manager, who were extremely helpful in our stay in our questions. The location was near the ocean (Imperial Beach). Walking distance to the the beach and excellent places to eat at. The night was quiet. We enjoyed our stay, we would do it again.
  : Well, truly the bathroom sink wasn't draining too well. The bathroom sink could use a little maintenance and the bathtub, should be replaced with a shower. Upgrade the bathroom. That's just what we felt was wrong with it.

  : I moved out of IB March 2024. I used to live a block from this hotel. I selected to stay at Sand Castle for the 4th of July weekend to visit friends and the 4th of July Bike Parade. As well, walking distance to the VFW so we wouldn't have to drink and drive.
  : The light outlet still plugged in to the ceiling. Rust bathtub. Floor was not mopped. Thin walls. Van bear every 6 am alarm clock and conversations. Over charged me $108.00 + I was told that I paid of deposit when I booked it and my balance due during the time I checked it was $666.00 +. I've been IB resident for many years and many of IB locals rent hotels near the beach. It's a small beach town. Everyone knows every one and word of bad service in IB will not go well with their business. I was planning to rent room mod August to celebratemy birthday. After my stay, I would rather stay at the hotel across the street. My friends in IB asked about my experience and they were bummed out about it and may go somewhere else.Oh yeah horrible plumbing.

  : Location was perfect! Right across the street from the beach!
  : No ice machine, no staff, room was not clean when we arrived and we had to miss our holiday plans because room was not ready for a couple of hours. Had to call a couple times before someone showed up. Also, there was a super annoying sound all night long that made it so we couldn’t hear ocean. Walls thin. We could hear every conversation in next room. Room is tiny. Door hit bed.
