  : Mostly it was about the last option I had as the olympic track tryouts were happening at the time and everything was full.So the fact that I had a place to sleep while my vehicle was being repaired was the most important thing for me.
  : That it could have been cleaner, inside and out. The place also needs some repairs. And considering that it was a "dorm room" with 2 bunkbeds and a single twin, the price was a bit high in my opinion. Especially since the bunks didn't have space to be able to sit upright while in bed, you cook your own breakfast and strip your own bed before you check out.

  : Loved the vibe of the place! Friendly staff, lovely porch to hang out in.
  : It would be great to have a nightstand next to the bed and some way to charge things in the room. I had to unplug the AC and the floor lamp to charge both my phone and hearing aids in the closet.

  : I liked that the hostel was in a neighborhood. Also close to a store and local restaurants. It was quiet for the most part. Also everything was in walking distance.
  : The showers were e not good and one was not working. I liked the fac that there was a free breakfast, but I wish the breakfast was prepared for us.

  : The water was broken in the bathroom, and the staff just said pull the nob up- but I had already tried everything- they close the kitchen at 10 PM so that there was no way for me to get water to drink. It's shaped like an A-frame and the top bunk is so close to your face, it feels like you are in a coofin- and the railing was rickety

  : I liked the location.
  : The manager is a liar and a thief. She made of falsehoods about me 3 times because the first lies she told were not believable, so she had to make up a third set of lies. This resulted in me not being able to extend my stay. This same manager , however, used my credit card to book and charge me for a third day on booking.com. Which caused me to have to notify my bank of fraudulent charges, the immediate cancelation of my credit card, and its replacement a few days later. Few the next 2 weeks, in my communications with the owner of the Hostel, Brenna, she only repeated to me the manager's lies and added a few more. She was insulting and threatening to me. I therefore notified my attorney of this abuse and fraud and very quickly thereafter, Brenna refunded my money. All she had to do is look at my 2 nights stay to see that I was charged for 3 night. As most of their staff are volunteers, and only work there for one month, the manager and owner try to blame them for the mistakes, when in reality, it is the manager who is doing the lying and thieving. In my case, it was male elder abuse. The name of the Hostel should be changed to the Eugene Hostile. I hate what they did to me and the resulting hardships it caused to me and my son.

  : Amazing staff and very friendly. Back area was inviting and the hammock was moreso. Breakfast offerings were perfect. Rooms were good sized and not too many bunks that it crowded it out.
  : It was very hot in Eugene when I arrived. And the rooms weren't air conditioned (I'd paid extra for one with air via the bookings app). The rooms were stiflingly hot even well into the early morning. This is my only issue with the place. Otherwise I'd definitely stay again!
