Astoria Rivershore Motel

Wonderful

: We could watch the container ships going by our front window, so cool.
: Outside corridors made it a tiny bit noisy but not unbearable. We loved our stay, had a kitchenette!

Very Poor

Poor

: sink and countertop were newer and nice. Very friendly staff. Location was noisy.
: Room was very smoky. Someone has been smoking in there, and not just once. shower fixture loose, things coming off the wall, carpet looked very worn/ not very clean.

Disappointing

: Everything was clean enough. The kitchenette was convenient with a fridge and microwave. The bed was clean and comfortable, as were the pillows. Staff were nice and the wifi was strong for my work needs.
: This was more of a hole in the wall place than the pictures suggested, by far. I don't even mind a hole in the wall place, but I could've spent $50 more a night and gotten something FAR superior. I feel my ability to price compare was deceived in this way. I needed a clean quiet place for work and this was barely adequate. I could've been FAR more comfortable for just a bit more money, and I really needed that to focus on work. Lastly, it promised non-smoking–even made me sign that I wouldn't smoke–but someone in an adjacent room must've been a smoker because my room REAKED of smoke from dinner through breakfast time. I woke up feeling sick. It was horrible.
