Pleasant

Traveller Type: Family with Young Children
: Plenty of room. Nice fenced yard for the dog.
: I hadn't realized you have to drive to the beach. Theres no access within walking distance and if there had been you would have to cross a highway. Not good with an excited dog! Had I known I would have not rented this property.

Very Poor

Traveller Type: Family with Young Children
: Lots of spaces to sleep.
: I recently stayed at Vista Del Mar while there was a plumbing issue. Due to the issue I had to stay at a house I was told would be "no more than 15 minutes away" the house they reserved for my family was 45 minutes further than the house I reserved, each way. It was also drastically smaller than the house I reserved. I was expected to be out of the accomidation house at normal check out time, 10am and had a check in time of 4pm at the house I had reserved. I bought and brought food to cook for my family and would have had no place to cook them lunch or refridgerate my food. I was told over the phone the house I had reserved would be ready by noon. So we went before 4pm. The bathroom was still a mess with sewerage water and smelled terribly!! The plumber did not show up until after 12pm, while we were there. It was very loud and distruptive to my toddler attempting to nap at the time. Then they sent a cleaning lady. She arrived, tidied it up and the entire house smelled of bleach for hours after (though we were grateful it didnt smell like sewerage anymore). Due to all of this my family missed out on almost half of the trip, we missed areservationwe had made for near by attractions. With all of the inconvenience this caused my family I have attempted to request a refund for this house. The owner has not attempted once to make this right, refund any amount of money or reach out and speak with me after numerous attempts. This house was cute and cozy but due to how all of this has been handled, I would never deal with them again or recommend it.Also, the front door would not lock when we attempted to leave for the beach for a few hours.
