  : There was no breakfast. The electricity in room 701, which is the room we were given, was not functional in the kitchen. We made coffee in the bathroom
  : VACASA merits nine negative strikes—In sum, this is a management company that cares little for the needs and concerns of its guests.We received confirmation of our reservation bearing an address of apartment 701. We viewed the apartment, and the photograph of the view matched the actual view of unit 701. Then the troubles began.1.No electricity in the kitchen plugs—complained to no avail. Made coffee in the bathroom.2.Card in the kitchen claimed we had free wifi. Called the 800 number when wifi failed and were told—no free wifi.3.TV did not function.4.The shower did not work.5.At 10:30 at night, someone opened our door with a key. Apparently, the room had been rented to another family who entered without even knocking. There is no night lock on 701.6.Someone from management then came up and asked to see our paperwork, which we provided.7.After two nights in 701, we received another call from Vacasa who claimed we should have been in room 305. (Then why did the front desk put us in 701?)8.The view from 305 was much nicer than 701, but that nicer view was not on our paperwork.9.When asked about compensation for all the foul ups and disruptions to our very short vacation, Eric Mora of Vacasa told us we were entitled to our opinion. Even though he admitted that Vacasa had itself fouled up.In short, how many guests would enjoy a surprise visit from another renter in the middle of the night, especially when Vacasa provided the key? The rooms were ill kept and partially non functional. Vacasa’s people should not have permitted any of the foregoing to occur. Our grade for Vacasa and the Aquarius is D-. Don’t waste your money, and don’t bother to complain.

  : Great ocean-front view and close (walking) distance to several great restaurants, convenience store a block away.
  : The condo felt very crowded with what seemed like extreme excess furniture for such a small space and most of the counter space was occupied with useless platters, bowls, vases, etc. It left little room to put our own stuff out. The floor was covered with a high gloss tile and was VERY slick when wet from the A/C unit at the front door that was dripping on it. It also looked like the tile must have been factory seconds because there were a lot of blemishes in it. A couple of glass vases had been placed by one of the light switches which resulted in one of them getting knocked off and broken. The cabinets in the kitchen and bathroom were of the cheap particle board variety and some of which appeared to be barely hanging from the wall. Overall, it was a great location the condo itself was just lacking in expectations for a relaxing stay.
