On-site, there are expansive terraces with fire pits. Each of the Fairmont Heritage Place Ghirardelli Square's spacious apartments features a fireplace and a high-end entertainment system. Each bedroom features a private bathroom with an enclosed glass shower. All apartments feature exposed brick walls, which provide natural soundproofing and serve as a reminder of the original Ghirardelli Square façade.
For guest use, an in-unit washer and dryer are concealed in a closet. Certain apartments offer views of the bay. Grocery shopping and chef services can be arranged prior to or during guests' arrivals through the concierge and butler's 24-hour service. Daily room service is available from The Pub BBQ and McCormick & Kuleto's Seafood Restaurant. The Fairmont Heritage elevators provide direct access to Wattle Creek Winery, Ghirardelli Ice Cream and Chocolate Shop, and other Ghirardelli Square boutiques and restaurants.
Only guests with a guest key card have secure access to all elevators and entrances. The San Francisco Maritime National Museum and Fisherman's Wharf are both within a two-minute walk. Crissy Field, located at the foot of the Golden Gate Bridge, is a 15-minute bike ride from The Fairmont Heritage Place Ghirardelli Square.
