  : Great to see the cable cars running outside on the street (we asked for a room with a view)! Nice room (nicer than the entrance area and corridors).
  : We could 't lock our window properly, so we had to leave it open a bit in oder to keep it locked and nobody could enter the room from outside. Just a view blocks away from the Tenderloin district where the Fentanyl epidemic is horrible at the moment. We saw persons in the Fentanyl fold standing on the street. I wouldn't recommend being outdoors there at night alone as a woman.

  : The location was ok and it hotel was close to shops and bars.
  : The hotel is very rundown, and most of the guests aren't tourists. The bath wasn't clean, so we didn't use that. Even though nothing happened, the place simply didn't feel safe and comfortable considering the price we paid. Someone was sick in the classic old style gage lift (elevator!). I mentioned this to the person at the reception area (if you can call it that!). He simply wasn't interested!!! You also get the odd drunk hovering around the outside of the hotel, and sometimes they wonder in. If you want a pleasant, comfortable stay somewhere, I wouldn't recommend this hotel.

  : The price was right and it had laundry facilities.
  : Upon entering our room we immediately had a cockroach run across the floor. There was no heating or cooling bar a slow celing fan meaning the room was very warm. The shower had mould on the base and there was mysterious marks of something that had dripped down the bathroom walls. We didn't get hand towels or a bathmat and the bathroom floor got soaked when in the shower. The toilet was so close to the vanity that it hung over your knees when sitting on it. You basically had to shimmy in. The Customer base was reminiscent of a halfway house. It didn't appear many tourists stay here. I would not walk around there alone at night - a couple of streets down there appeared to be a large homeless population. It was a challenging walk to fisherman's wharf due to the hills - don't let the distance fool you!
