  : I don't know if there's enough room here but first of all, this is a TRAVELODGE, not a Howard Johnson... Yes there is a HJ sign but you check-in at the Travelodge... Lady checked me in and said go to your room and wait for me outside to come let you in.... Huh? Ok.... So I go and wait about 10 mins in the dark, outside my room door. She comes and unlocks the door but gives me no room keys still. She says "He is bringing them shortly." I say uhmmm ok and go into my room and shut the door. The toilet did not flush- I pulled the back off and looked to reconnect the chain myself and it was missing altogether. I walk back down to Travelodge to let them know after she never returned with keys.I said, I'd like to leave my room and go get some food etc. She said, just leave all your stuff in the room and 'He' should be back by the time you are. Still I ask 'who is HE?' I get no response. I let her know I am most definitely not comfortable with leaving all my belongings in a looked room that I cannot access. She kept saying 'He is coming back with keys." She finally broke open a new pack of blank keys and made me two.She also moved me to the next room over due to the toilet. The 2nd room, right next door, had plexiglass as windows?!?! No extra door lock, no coffee, and 1 pillow per bed (the other room had 3 pillows per bed). The counter by the bathroom was covered in some weird grime as if the room has not been cleaned since someone else stayed in there. Idk- very scary.At 1:45AM some guy comes pounding on our door like he is the police yelling "Who's in there? No one is booked in this room!" I get to the door from my slumber and he reels back at me inquiring what I'm doing in there and I let him know the front desk chick moved me. He says 'oh, ok. She didn't put that in the computer.

  : the staff very polite to myself and help me with no problems when I needed something.. the three lady there 2 older white lady one the in office with glasses and the other that has clipboard and can forget the lady that look samoan with color hair and tattoos awesome customer service lady’s thank you
  : stairs couldn’t use tape off. elevator needs updating felt unsafe and make noise. Ohhhhh and another thing I did not like about the property on the website when you make a reservation they tell you how much the total is don’t say nothing about no deposit but once you walk in there is $100 deposit I don’t mind but it would be good to know.

  : The staff was not available to check in when we got there at 4:30pm. They charged me $200 in deposits for two rooms. They released the money and then immediately charged it fully to my card. This caused at least three overdraft charges totalling $100. So at this point I am in the hole for $300 now owed back to me.

  : room too small and can’t barely move around it says in the deal free breakfast which was included in the rate we paid but per staff no breakfast due to Covid. dirty towels and only one set of small bottles toiletries given with 3 people in the room
