  : Great location. Interesting building (downstairs). Many options in the continental breakfast.
  : BIG ISSUE - our "private bathroom" was two small separate rooms (shower in one, toilet and sink in the other) elsewhere on the floor. Not ensuite, and open such that anyone could use them (though they're was a sign stating these were for our room.) Not at all convenient or very private in the middle of the night. The bedroom was comfortable, but the historic nature of the building was marred by the awful decoration (think cheap paintings that look like they came from a rummage sale). It also had an overpowering smell of something (scented deodorizer? ) Worse was the fact that the window based a/c was incredibly noisy and would run for one minute then stop. Then start up again two minutes later. There was no way we could sleep with that happening. There was no staff running breakfast and signs instructed us to wash and sanitize our own dishes, something I've never been asked to do before in a B and B. Honestly the whole experience made this feel more like an expensive kind of hostel stay, not what I was expecting and very poor value at the price we had to pay. It's a shame, because the house is interesting, the bedrooms could easily be better decorated, and the location is an interesting neighborhood with lots of restaurants. They probably can't "fix" the bathroom issue, but it should have been clearly disclosed in advance. I've never before questioned what a "private bathroom" meant.
