  : The staff was extremely friendly.
  : Nearly all of the advertised amenities were closed. The bar, childrens area, and fire pit were not in service. From 8pm-8am they close the lobby and turn off the elevator. We requested to check out with a refund shortly after checking in, they charged us $50 and did not refund the correct amount. Now I’m out $80 because their website and booking.com are inaccurate. They charged us a cleaning fee even though we spent less than 15min in the room. The property is very dated. Other than some workers in the area for the recent storm I think we were the only people staying there, patio furniture required us to clean it. I would not recommend this hotel, especially in the summer.Editing to reply to your response. The weather had already passed (didn’t see a drop of rain while we were there and there was no visible flooding) AND I called several days before my reservation and the morning of my reservation to verify that the hotel was accessible and operating as normal. I was told what I was seeing on TV was for ratings and that everything was fine at the Lodge. You say the kids area had water damage, it was accessible and dry, everything was just pushed against the walls and shut down, much like the bar you claim to have which was locked up and empty. I understand what the cleaning for and using the pandemic is a cop out, and even then I did not get refunded the agreed to amount. I never would have checked in had everything been disclosed at check in or at either one of my calls ahead of time. At least be honest in your listings and website and say that if it isn’t ski season you’re paying $225 for four walls and roof.

  : Great atmosphere and staff. Awesome view and access to the mountain. Very clean. Good hot water and water pressure.
  : Bed was super soft and tough on our backs. My back is tricky under the best conditions, but even my spouse struggled with it.

  : Location, location, location. I was down the street from Stratton, on the mountain for Bromley. The balcony off the room was great, and I could sit and watch the sun go down and rise if so desired. Great pillows too. The staff was very friendly, welcoming, and pleasant. The room was clean and provided everything I needed. The pillows were great, too, which is key for good sleep.
  : I always wish for a hot tub at a ski lodge because there's nothing better than an outdoor hot tub after skiing/snowboarding.

  : A large group of families took over the lobby and entire hotel. They were loud, played loud music, and let their kids run wild. It was very loud while we tried to sleep - think freshman dorm party. It made our stay much less pleasant. It is great they have such great guests that come and feel at home. Still if they want to whole lodge they should rent while lodge.
