  : Location was perfect for visiting all the North Conway shops and the Conway Scenic Railway. We could have walked to most places we wanted to visit.
  : Checking in at the Eastern Slope was a bit inconvenient, but only because I didn't know about it ahead of time. It was POURING rain the day we arrived and there wasn't an available parking spot near the front of the lobby.

  : It was very convenient to town activity.
  : The heat was intermittent. The shower was like washing under a sprinkling can and Hot water was Luke warm at best. The lock on the door was hanging loose from the frame. It locked ok, but was a little disconcerting! The other amenities were as expected.Apparently, this facility was recently taken over by the Eastern Slope Inn Resort. However it is quite obvious that they have invested nothing to upgrade anything.

  : 1 star hotel with a cost of a 3 star. The only thing we liked was the location and the pillows. We will never stay there again.

  : Cleanliness, and the room looked to have been recently renovated. Or maybe that's how you keep it all the time? Either way. everything was ship-shape.
  : 1. When arriving at the Oxen Yoke, there is a sign that tells the customer to proceed to the Eastern Slope Inn (ESI) for check-in. That information could have been sent prior to arrival so the customer could drive directly to ESI and check in, rather that going one place, then another. 2. There is an unexpected $40 security deposit that was debited to my account immediately upon check in (I hadn't even left check in at ESI before my bank registered the withdrawal). Could that fee be withheld, and if there is damage to the room the fee could be debited? Now it is on me to ensure ESI does its due diligence and refunds my bank the fee.
