  : TV was a box TV from (I imagine) 1994. No breakfast. Restaurant was closed. No pool, pool was closed, which was a big reason why we had chosen that hotel.

  : We loved that we were given a ground floor room when we asked for it. The view was spectacular
  : I would like to have had a regular table as opposed to the small end-table type. The pool was dark and a little intimidating I was not comfortable to go in there alone. And the bed wasnt exactly the most comfy, that said I cant say it was bad either and my discomfort was probably more my issue than the bed. I would like to have seen a bar-type chain lock on the door

  : The entire floor I was staying on had a musty cigarette odor mixed with rot and animal urine. All the windows were opened on the main hallway, with one missing its screen entirely perhaps in an attempt to help ventilate the stench. Looking down the hall, there is visible sag in the ceiling with peeling paint and wallpaper. I was staying in the "D" block of the hotel on the second floor. The door to my room was so badly out of plumb and square that it required putting my full weight into my shoulder to open it while engaging the door handle. The room and entire building was very dated. My room came equipped with a kitchenette. One drawer was almost completely off its runners and was sitting at about a 30 angle. The microwave was a mid 80's model General Electric Spacemaker 3. All furniture in the room showed signs of wear and some showed signs of having been chewed upon by animals. There was no air conditioning, and only baseboard heat. The tub had a soft spot that seemed to have been patched with vinyl at some point in time. The beach can be accessed by a flight of ~87 stairs. Be careful not to use the handrail that has completely rotted through in some sections, and is rotted off from the bottom in multiple sections. The stairs ends in a washed out section of storm drain runoff that had an oily sheen and needed to be navigated carefully before making it to the beach. The restaurant and bar the Shiloh Inn tout in their advertising has been shuttered since 2018 and apparently the complimentary breakfast went with it. Don't worry though, they still advertise it online.
