  : Apartment itself was fine.
  : I checked in ahead of time per the instructions but when we arrived, the door code provided didn't work. I made 3 phone calls to management who kept promising to call me back with an ETA for help but no one ever did. After 30 minutes outside in the cold, someone finally arrived to let us in but struggled himself with multiple codes before we could get in. They tried to tell us it was wet paint that had dried and was making the door stick. That's some interesting paint that doesn't cover scratches, smudges or dirt, but holds the door in place so well that the 200+lb maintenance guy couldn't even open after throwing all of his weight behind it over and over. I asked ahead of time about bedding for the pullout couch. The "blanket" was a cotton weave throw that *may* be sufficient if you're cold watching tv but certainly not to sleep at night. Fortunately I was skeptical and had brought my own comforter. On the first day, we arrived back in the evening to find dark urine with no TP in the toilet, so clearly a man had been there when we were out. We were 2 ladies staying and neither of us left that. Management could never say why someone was in our apartment and concluded "after thorough investigation" that no one had been in there. I guess it was ghost pee pee then? It's anyone's guess if the faucet on the bathroom since would turn on which could be anything from full force to just a trickle of water. If it does turn on, good luck shutting it off. One day the water ran for 10+ hours while we were out because you can't turn it off. There were globs of dust flying around and under the bed, plus dirty q-tips under the dresser and long, dark hair on the "clean" towels. What are we all paying a $70 cleaning fee for if they don't actually clean? At the end of the trip they have the nerve to offer me a $250/year subscription to their properties so I could stay again in this mess.

  : ceiling fan didn’t work, thin walls. figuring out where to park was complicated, garage is accessible via an alley which isn’t mentioned anywhere.
