: Our visit felt a little like stepping back in time. Every part of the hotel reflected it's 150 year history. Waking up in room #1 and stepping out onto the second floor deck to over look downtown McGreger, made me feel as if it was 1890.

: Cleanliness!!!! We refused to stay the night, the many was rude when I confronted about dead bugs in the room, she said hadnt been checked for 2wks and it is harvest time. Had to walk on bird poop to get to the room.

: The hotel room was not cleaned between guests! The bedding was not even changed, when we pulled back the blankets the sheet was filthy!

: Would never stay here again. There was no check in or staff for hotel - we were given a key by the bartender and no one was available to service the room. They tried to "encourage" us to pay in cash. When I refused they let us use a credit card through a Square terminal. In the room there was visible dust and grit on the floor, and the bathroom sink & toilet had not been cleaned. There were clean bath towels but the hand towels had obviously been used by prior occupant. There were no bathroom amenities (soap, shampoo, etc) and only 1/3 of a roll of toilet paper with no extra rolls. There was a coffee pot & coffee packets in the room but no cups, sugar, etc. Bed sheets were clean, heating/cooling was fine. We only stayed because surrounding hotels were all booked. Fortunately there was a Kwik Trip next door where we could pick up snacks, coffee, and sanitizing wipes. This was better than camping but definitely NOT worth the $110/night we were charged. I feel terrible giving them a negative review because they were clearly understaffed, but the room was REALLY bad.
