  : The location was great, and it was on my way to Houston from Lake Dallas. I used Booking.com instead of my usual Priceline bc I was out of LD and past my usual Best Western as I’m there once or twice a month. I brought up my maps and saw Baymont was near me for $101 and had a link to booking.com. Regretting not going with reliable sources, it was 11pm after a really long night and I just wanted to sleep.When I first opened the door to the room, the smell of old hot mildew hit me. I took a picture of the room that looks like it had not been updated in decades and told him it smells like it looks. Regardless I’m extremely tired so I put my bags down and started my night time routine. I just started to feel itchy and they looked old and lumpy so I went to check it out with my phone light. I saw a clear yellow spot on my pillow and when I touched it, it jumped. I’ve never seen a bed bug and I really wanted to go to bed so I was still hopeful even after they were on the other pillow. I saw an old tick tock video years ago but never thought I would need it. I took the blow dyer and heated up one side of the pillow and pulled back the cover and there were hundreds of them. I got out as soon as I could. I told the girl up front and she wasn’t surprised. She asked if I wanted another room but no, don’t you do all your laundry together? She said she can only confirm me not checking in but my refund has to come from booking.com. I went there and it says no refunds and. I’ve sent multiple chats and messages about visual bed bugs. I guess I would rather pay for 2 hotels and a lesson than bring this home to my babies. I do wonder if they plan to clean that place up or do they just go on unreported. Something to checkout while contracting with a hotel. A concern for public safety. Signed, truly disgusted and disappointed
