  : After the third day everything was more or less O.K. Before that, it was all uphill.
  : THE RENTAL FROM HELL:We Recently rented a duplex in Kissimmee, FL for four nights, to spend Thanksgiving with our son who lives there. The House is advertised as “Four Bedroom Home with Pool” under Booking.com and is actually the property of “Wonder Vacation Homes (WVH).” If you ever see any of these two names associated with a rental run the other way fast! The first night we had to sleep in the downstairs bedroom (It is two stories), as it had the only bed which did not screeched so loudly we could not sleep. I had to tell my relatives who were supposed to join us to sleep elsewhere. Obviously, I reported it to WVH though their text portal, as they will not accept phone calls. The following day they sent two people separately; the first one found out the problem was not with the mattress, but with the box springs under the mattresses in all three upstairs rooms. The second person came in and removed old cardboard imbedded in all the box springs, and to his credit that solved the problem.The second problem was with heating the pool. It costs $40 per day to heat it so I asked for two days, Thanksgiving and the Friday after. They charged me $40 X 4 Nights and after my protest, said they had to charge for the total number of nights in the reservation. The pool was freezing the first and second days, so I asked for a refund. I also asked for a refund for the first night, as my relatives could not stay there because of the screeching box springs. I am still waiting.To cap it all off, WVH charged me a refundable $500 deposit for any possible damages. We left that place spotless, took out the trash, and even put all the towels in the washing machine, as they had demanded. They only returned $426 of my $500 claiming that one towel was stained, one hand towel was missing and a toilet was clogged. For the toilet they charged me $45. I guess there are no plungers in Kissimmee. I am certain none of the three toilets were clogged when we left.

  : I loved the quiet community that we were staying in. I felt safe. Also the pool and splash pad was great, the bar within was perfect! The condo Kitchen was very nice.
  : The personal pool was very small for our condo. The pool area is open to all condo pools and was a tad loud. The layout of the home was not ideal and the showers were not amazing, especially in the master. They were old, the curtain barely stayed up. The king bed was not comfortable to me and my husband at all, but could just be preference.

  : That the property management is constantly emailing you during your stay about taking care of their property & if you damage anything your paying for it. I’m there to relax & not to be bothered all day long. Besides that I would recommend the place.
