: The C302 room was gorgeous, clean and had comfortable beds. Booked this room and C204 for a week - great fit for our family of 6 adults and 4 kids. Loved the pool, the view, and the location by Safeway, Shave Ice, and Starbucks! Lovely balcony overlooking the pool. Would recommend the Waipouli Resort to anyone!
: Unfortunately the A/C quit on Tuesday after our arrival on Friday. It made the whole unit extremely uncomfortable! Especially sleeping. We called the concierge number on the house phone and were only able to leave messages. By thursday we were able to reach Candace, our contact at Kauaicalls.com through whom we booked the room; Candace relayed that our messages had been passed along to the property management onsite. She relayed that the issue affected the entire building and that life on Kauai meant replacement parts were slow to arrive. However when a repairman finally arrived on Thursday. he contradicted her information, saying that the problem was only in our unit. This impacted our stay significantly, so Candace offered a refund of one night's stay and a $75 gift certificate to the Oasis restaurant onsite. I would have preferred just to have air conditioning for the week.
