: This is a wonderful condo with potential to be more comfortable than it was for us. A generous supply of beach chairs, snorkel equipment, beach towels and linens is provided. Kitchen is well-equipped, and we were grateful to have a washer & dryer in the unit. We love Kona Makai property and it’s lovely well-kept grounds.
: Bed Pillows were old, stinky and gross! Air conditioners need cleaning, plus they’re very noisy. Condo had strong-smelling chemical floral deodorizer upon arrival. All irritating! Not necessary if these things were cleaned properly. Neighbor’s air conditioner is loud from lanai, and smells. Bathroom sink drain full of 3” long gunk. Dirty floor & area rugs. Piercing water alarm went off at 4 am, sounded like a fire alarm! Owner left this alarm on top of fridge wrapped in foil?? Plus several around condo. Nice touch. Lanai needs overhead light for dining in eves. A number of issues. We have rented several other Kona Makai units that we were MUCH happier with, for less $$.

: The apartment is decent.
: They charge a hidden fee of $220 for cleaning even if you stay one night. So, your card will be charged for $450+ for ONE night. Which they refuse to refund stating that this is a fair price. It is not!!! You can book the Marriott and luxury hotels for lower prices. Avoid at all cost!This is even listed as lower price than Marriott when you sort by lower price on Booking.com. It is a trap!!!The bedroom is very loud from the neighbor’s A/C. You can’t rest even if you use earplugs.

: Very nice location the. Very comfortable for a couple clean had everything we needed.
: There are alot of rules we are going back in Jan for a couple weeks would have loved to stay here just in a 2 bedroom but all the rules make it not suitable to bring children and that's what we are doing this trip
