Sonder — The Hampstead

: The apartment was spacious and clean
: The place was basically a hotel room with more rooms and a partially functional kitchen. I say partially because the kitchen was so barely stocked with the basics. We had planned on cooking and eating out Thanksgiving dinner here but had to switch last minute to a very expensive restaurant. Could not have possible prepared a meal in that kitchen. Other basics missing: hand soap in bathrooms, tissues, extra toilet paper (we started with less than 2 full rolls) Couldn't get into the building. Nobody gave us the code to the elevator, just the room code. Only 2 chairs for kitchen table and one was broken. Most minimal furnishings to be able to call it furnished. I feel like Sonder owes me the $488 restaurant bill.

Very Good

: We like location to our hospital without being in the noise. We like that it's a smaller apartment building than the others we looked at
: Elevator didn't work..it quit on our previous stay and when we arrived for our next stay it still wasn't..and being on the 4th 5th and 6th floors and travelling with a weeks worth of belongings and food was a beating going up and down..However we would stay with a Sonder apartment again..stuff happens and we just like the comfortable aspect of this place

: We like that it's close to hospital without the noise of the hospital diatrict
: Shower head and low water pressure in unit 505..the others we have stayed in were good

: This is the first time that I have booked accommodation through booking and I feel cheated. The apartment was big and confortable inside but the rest was a disaster.
: The elevator was damaged for the 4 days of my stay, the system to unlock the entrance with three different passwords is overcomplicated and there is no one to help. It is located on the wrong side of the tracks, if you don't have a car don't stay here.

: The shower was poor - very weak shower head that basically dribbles water. There were stains on the pull out bed and no spare sheets or blankets available.

: When we where driving to the property we got a message that the elevator was broken we were on the 5 th floor my mom is in a wheelchair I called and they wouldnt help us find accommodation that we could use they just said they would cancel our reservation but it would take 7 days to get our money back

: It was convenient to the venue where the show I was attending. Also I liked that it was more like an apartment instead of a hotel room.
: The bathtub was deep and there was nothing to reduce slips. I ended up using a hand towel to use as a bath mat. Also the water pressure in the shower left MUCH to be desired. The shower head was a modern large square, but the upper three rows of holes for water didnt have any water coming out.

Wonderful

: It was a great deal for the price. The location is perfect and the view was great.
: The apartment was a bit dirty. The carpet definitely needed to be replaced and the walls need to be wiped down but for the price is was absolutely worth it. The neighbor was also really loud. I contacted Sonder and they reached out to them. It didnt help much but they did what they could:

  : There was no breakfast
: When i had got there i had put in a request about the water pressure in the shower . They advised me someone fixed it . But it wasnt fixed . I would have given 10 stars if i didnt have to spend 4 days not been able to shower because there was no water pressure. Also , the morning it was time to leave the elevator was broke . I missed my flight because i couldnt figure out why the elevator wasnt working . I had to travel down 6 flights of stairs with all my luggage . It was a pain .
