: The location, the kitchenette and the price.
: Upon arrival at 10am we were told that there was nowhere to store our luggage until check-in at 3pm. We tried in vain to contact the owner and so sat in the lobby and waited. After two hours of sitting under her nose in the lobby, my husband told the receptionist ( young girl) that we were unable to contact the owner. Only then did she volunteer the information that there was a shop nearby that charges $5 a bag to store luggage until check-in.Wow - that would have been nice to know earlier! Her attitude bordered on rudeness.So off we went humping our luggage up the road. BTW we are both late 60s.Some Aloha!!

: Location. The ability to cook our own food. The pool and laundry.
: The electric Cooktown was a bit of a mightmare. Took 2 hours to cook anything. Normal cooking time usually half hour. Kept turning itself off. Also had to put a plate under it as it got very hot and was afraid it would burn the bench top. A little oven cooktop combination would have been better.

: The location was nice and handy in terms of beach access, the property seemed well looked after, swimming pool with bar a relaxing contrast to busy Waikeke Beach. A comfortable studio with all you need for a pleasant stay, the air condition nice and quiet when running over night with closed, well insulated windows.
: Noise from the busy road, looking straight into the opposite property, hardly any natural light due to obstructing buildings around.

: Location. literally 1 minute walk to Waikiki beach
: view from balcony (you look directly into other peoples hotel rooms), but hey: its too warm to sit there anyway
