  : The location was great and the house is well kept and very clean. The water pressure and hot water in the shower were AMAZING.
  : I booked this spot for the woodstove but I didnt realize that was the main source of heat. There were space heaters upstairs and they worked fine once they had been running for awhile and the wood stove heated up the downstairs well but this made for very cold mornings and a lot of extra labor (keeping a fire going for hours is hard work!) Not sure I would've paid this much if I knew there was no central heating.

  : Location.plenty of pots and pansgood refrigerator and stoveGreat fast response from Angela when we couldnt get in.
  : Really run down. No table to eat dinner on, we had to bring the outdoor wire table round to the porch where we ate. An electric kettle would be good or a topper for the stove kettle so you can hear it when it boils. The kitchen floor flooded after rain on Friday morning. A tea towel would be good instead of having to use paper towels (less waste)Not suitable for elderly due to super low toilet and uneven surfaces everywhere. Previous guests dirty socks under bed.

  : Great location within walking distance to the village, full kitchen, roomy bathroom, pet friendly.
  : Mattress is insanely uncomfortable. People in the unit next door kept taking our rocking chairs on the front porch, despite having a back patio. Host was completely unresponsive.

Disappointing

  : Convenient location close to the local attractions and inexpensive. The owner was quickly responsive when the coffee maker didn't work. It was better than a hotel and could be a much nicer place to stay with some modern updates.
  : Shabby and outdated with uncomfortable furniture and a horrible bed. There was no table, so we ended up having to eat off folding chairs like little trays. It's not readily obvious that this is a duplex, and due to its age, you can hear everything your neighbors are doing.
