  : We enjoyed the rustic cabin. It was very warm for a little cabin. The water boiler baseboard heating was very comfortable. We loved that it was so close to downtown Estes.
  : The wi-fi was iffy sometimes but not a big problem. It was nice to escape from the daily news.

  : Breakfast was delicious but we cooked our own..... not a B&B LOL Very comfortable. Didn't look like much from front but was great inside where it is important. Lots of seating. Decent kitchen. Enjoyed the fans as cottage got hot from sun. Location was amazing for downtown Estes. Parking was good as we had two cars.
  : Smoke alarm was a little sensitive. Left front burner on stove did not work. A fireplace would have made it perfect but appreciated the fire pit although we didn't have time to use it.

  : The location was great. Walked downtown several times during our stay. View from bedroom and living room was great.
  : The pictures on the website must be old. Not as nice as it looked. Safety issue with the carbon monoxide detectors are 3/4 up the wall. Proper placement is much lower on the wall. However they did work. No garbage bin. We had 4 bags of garbage by the end of the week and no place to put it. Also was told to use dishwasher. Not one in the kitchen. Also told we could do laundry on site but it was locked in the basement. Three rolls of toilet paper for 6 people. The TV was internet tv not cable so not much to watch when you want to relax at night. Did have Netflix though. The decor was very out dated. Every dish in the kitchen needed to be washed before it could be used. When I called about tv questions both people I spoke with were very nice.

  : The place was outdated and needs TLC. The ceilings and fans were filthy. There was no way to start the grill. There was a hair tie under the couch which means only the main area had been vacuumed. There was dust on the tv stand. We Could not find any outdoor trash cans. We couldnt check in til 4:00 because of deep cleaning? Because of these things it was wwwwwaaaaayyyyy overpriced. I should have paid half of what we were charged. In spite of all our main purpose was served which was to enjoy each other as a family.

  : The steps leading from the parking spots to the house are borderline dangerous. Very steep and narrow. I am 83 years old and they were quite hard for me to negotiate.

  : The cottage was comfortable and felt like home. There were three of us and there were three bedrooms, perfect. The location was good for the dog show we were there to attend.
  : Issues were minor: no dish rags or sponges to wash the dishes with. We were told to put the garbage in covered trash cans but there were none. It snowed while we were there and there was only a small mat inside the front door to catch the snow, dirt and grit.
