Charming Cloudcroft Cabin with Private Hot Tub!

  : This is a cabin for two couples or a small family with older children looking for a place to rest their heads at night, take a shower, and fix a meal. You can sit in front of the fire and stream your favorite shows on the large TV. It is nice to wash clothes; if you are not in a big hurry, it takes forever for the washer to fill, even for the smallest of loads.
  : Oh, where to begin? The driveway that is supposed to fit up to three cars is a graveled slope at best; in fact, the entire street is gravel, not paved at all. Look it up on Google. There is a reason it's not mapped. You must park parallel to get out after the rain. Then the "cozy" living area, there was not enough space for a walker or stroller to get between the island and the couch, making it difficult for some to watch TV with the family without assistance. The dryer was cramped full of what I assumed was clean towels and sheets, great so I get to put up someone else's laundry before doing my own but still get charged a full cleaning fee, right. Then there are the tall bar chairs, not practical for smaller children or those with mobility issues. So let's go outside. BUT don't do so at night. There is not a single light to see on the entire patio! There were lights around the table but no switch to turn them on and light in the middle of the deck but every switch we found never made it come on. So let's get to the entire reason we chose this "charming" cabin at all. A narrow stairway leads to the platform where the hot tub was located, and an entire step was missing. Yep, on a dark patio, on a narrow stairway, with wet feet wet, were to navigate a missing step. Let's get to the hot tub itself; the cover is on when we arrive, and it's covered with pine needles and dust, ok worrisome, but we carry on carefully removing the lid to make sure no debris falls into the tub. Well, that was a wasted effort because the tub was so full of pine needles the hosts called the spa man to come to do repairs only to say that the tub had been broken for quite some time. I have much more to write, but I have run out of space. So you do the same just RUN! RUN! RUN!

  : Not able to use the tub in bathroom, slight inconvenience. Found note asking not to use due to not draining.

  : No breakfast. Location was perfect for our needs.
  : Place was very dirty. Spider webs throughout the rooms. Lines was very old and scratch like sandpaper. Bathroom floors were dirty. Place was very dusty.Over charged for cleaning, when we did the cleanup of removing linens, trash.Hotel stay would have been better, they would have cleaned room daily.
