  : We actually rented this house thinking another of our families would join us, but Covid made them too nervous. So we ended up with a whole lot of space for a family with 2 kids. This house is perfect for a family because it’s big, comfortable but not fancy. Downstairs a very large bedroom with 2 bunk beds and attached full bath, and a foosball table (yes, that big). Upstairs, large main bedroom with couch and full bath en suite and walk in closet—plus 2 other good sized bedrooms and a full hallway bath. The kitchen was the best supplied kitchen of any rental I’ve ever had, and there have been a lot. Especially with Covid, we did lots of cooking. The ample living room furniture was all lazy boy so not high fashion but super comfy! We enjoyed the fireplace every day, and firewood was supplied too. When we couldn’t figure out how to work the jacuzzi, someone arrived in 15 minutes to help. There’s a nice back deck and front porch, both with chairs. In the 2-car garage, a ping pong table. Also lots of sledding equipment. Location was not too far from the slopes where the kids skied everyday.
  : The house is built on a hillside, so entering the front door is up a long flight of stairs. For an older person such as myself, this was difficult but not impossible. You could also enter through the garage. The cost was steep—worked out to $1400 a day. Other than that, what’s not to like?
