Disappointing

  : The breakfast was fine with a variety of hot selections. The complimentary water was nice. The staff was friendly and helpful. Parking was illuminated.
  : The pool was cold. Several linen items of bedding and towels were stained/appeared dirty. The toilet was dirty, and when noted to the staff the reply was that it is due to hard water, however the sink and tub area did not show evidence of hard water. The elevator, dinner by area floor, and floors throughout were very worn, dirty & unkept- overall as I heard another guest note the property “is tired”. I agree, it looks somewhat out of date, not well maintained and a staff shortage had people doing their best to juggle multiple tasks/duties. I felt bad for the employees that were there, doing the best they could, but this property could benefit from a serious deep clean from top to bottom.

  : Spokennoise none of the outlets worked spokenno on the tabletops, the cube outlet thingies.The telephone didn't work for the room. The pool Needed to be clean up.

  : The beds was comfortable. They did give me a room closer to the pool as I requested.
  : The first room they gave us the toilet did not work. So they gave us a different room then that bathroom door locked did not work and I got locked in it and had to call the office to get me out. Then they came to remove the lock. And did not replace it with anything so the bathroom would not close completely. Honestly for a Hampton inn that is related to Hilton inn. This hotel is very run down. Lots of paint is chipped off of the walls. The bathroom toilet paper didn't even have a holder. I told the front desk with all the bad experience at both rooms that I should receive some sort of discount. They said I would have to talk to booking.com because that's how I booked the room to receive a discount. I visit battlecreek often but I never will stay at this hotel again. Too many negatives. I've never stayed at a Hampton Inn that was so bad.
