Pine Tree Inn

Disappointing

: This booking was a scam. There was no couch in the room, no breakfast, no seating in the room etc. The heat was set at 65 degrees and no way to turn up the heat in the room. It was done by the computer at the front desk and we were told that they could not guarantee the heat and that if we got heat they could not control how hot it would get and that the radiator would make loud noises. My spouse who rarely gets cold had feet and knees like ice cubes. I had written a note for the Inn requesting the first floor and the couch as shown on the site. The booking was non-refundable and we were told that we could cancel the booking and go elsewhere but they did not know if you (the third party booking agency) would refund us our money. So we stayed. I will talk to my credit card company tomorrow to see if there is anything we can do as what we signed up for was far from what we got. The desk clerk did say that the owner had updated the site but you had not updated it on your end. She was also unable to reach him on this matter. Furthermore, the place housed a bunch of homeless people and looked like a dive. People walking around in PJs, hanging around the front desk entertaining the clerk, smoking pot outside. Seriously!Unhappy customer to say the least.

: The location was close by the things we visited Bangor for.
: People talk about the homeless camp nearby but it wasn’t an issue. While it is close by, it’s mostly indistinguishable from a campground and there was no issue at all with any of the “campers”. They were quiet and aside from the tents we didn’t see any of them as they kept to themselves. Due to an issue that was apparently beyond the control of PTI we had to move to a different room on our final night. PTI compensated us for that night’s stay which we appreciated very much.

: Nothing they dont gave us the room that we asking double bed room my husband has to sleep in a sofa. we pay for 2 beds. No taxis. No good services for transfer the calls to the rooms.
: We paid for breakfast and never was breakfast . you need to send me my money back.because in that hotel is no breakfast service. All the thing you tell about the room was a lie.

: NO BREAKFAST WAS PROVIDED Homeless encampment was located across the street, Had a hassle straightening out the fact that we had already paid, Facility is more like a halfway house than a motel, I would not recommend to anyone. Won’t use you again
: For $200.00 we expected a better room, very sparse, it took 2 different remote controls to operate the tv. Our room came complete with someone else’s drink in the fridge and a used tube of toothpaste in the cupboard. Had to argue at them desk over payment.

  : Nothing
: Deceptive photos! Property is across from a homeless camp! Did not feel at all safe, very sketchy characters roaming around outside! Did not stay, asked for a refund, the manager refused, stated it was my fault for not researching! I did research and booked based on the photos that were posted! He was rude and condescending! DO NOT BOOK HERE!

: There was no breakfast, false advertisement. Didnt like the location
: There was suppose to be a free breakfast included in the price, just as its advertised on bookings.com, but when I checked in, the front desk person told me that they dont do that anymore because the area is overrun by the homeless people that live in a tent city, directly across the street from the hotel, and that they had stopped doing breakfast’s months ago because the homeless would come in and help themselves to it. The location is very, very overrun by the homeless, I saw about 25+ tents set up, so much That at first I thought it was a campsite, but when I saw a guy lift up a toilet bowl by hand and turn it upside down to empty the brown human waste onto the ground, there was no denying that this was not a campground. Its very sad to see that much homelessness, sucks that I didnt get the free breakfast that I paid for in the $250 that I was charged for only the 1 night. Since the customers are staying there, and are paying for a breakfast that they are not getting(false advertisement), I think Pine Tree should be feeding those homeless people breakfast, its already paid for, do the right thing, and give it to the homeless across the street, be creative, do meal prep and bag it and bring it over to them, we paid for it, so give it to them. Otherwise dont advertise that breakfast is included in the room rates, and lower the room rates minus the cost of breakfast. Or a paid voucher for a breakfast at a restaurant. Someone do the right thing here!!A lot of people hanging out front of the hotel, was a little sketchy.

: Very friendly staff and clean rooms and bathroom!
: We only stayed one night for a concert at the Amphitheatre. We did not expect this Inn to be so far as online was stated 1.3 miles (which we did not mind that walk). We ended up needing to find a mode of transportation back (local Taxi) to the Inn due to the length of the walk after the concert. The air conditioning was not working in our room and no staff at the desk after 10 pm to ask to come and look at it so our room was VERY warm as it was super hot out that day and then again the next morning.
