I'll bulletproof my review so it's easier to follow: - The staff/reception were super friendly and they accommodated an early check-in. - The Inn is right behind the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino which is where the events I planned to attend were located at so this was super convenient. - The bed was clean and I found it comfortable (not sure what other reviewers were expecting). To add: there indeed were cigarette burns on the mattress protector but that was under two other clean sheets so I let that slide. - All the lights and the fridge were in good working condition.
  : - I booked this Inn on a short notice for one night as it was one of the first available choices under $300 dollars during the Labor Day weekend. Price was a bit over $200/night (I acknowledge the supply/demand pricing here) but, in retrospect, I should have spent the additional $150+ and stayed at one of the boardwalk casino hotels for my own peace of mind as I didn't read the reviews until after I booked. Even with the supply/demand $$ increase... I cannot justify this at $200+/night.- Out of the six towels in my bathroom, only two seemed to be clean (I hope!). The larger towels were damp and two had quite a lot of black hair on them (I'm a redhead). They were all folded neatly when I came in so I assume, based on the condition, that they're not washed well or perhaps not washed at all.- There really are roaches as other reviewers have spotted. There was a body of a small roach on the bathroom floor near the wall. So if you have a roach allergy -- be aware of this. I did note that they did put in roach killer in certain spots (very visible) and the dead roach is the by-product of that but its body should have been cleaned up when the bathroom floor was wiped.- Most of the furniture in the room should be tossed (there's a difference between outdated furniture and then there's picking items out from the trash bin and furnishing the Inn with broken chairs/drawers/etc)..- Only microwave I saw was near the reception.- Everything behind the casinos in AC is suspect -- so be aware of your surroundings. I was not expecting to encounter so many aggressive homeless people, people drugged out and rolling around on the street, etc. I won't complain about the street noise as this was to be expected right behind the casinos but be prepared for solicitations as you travel by foot up towards the Boardwalk.
