  : It's a relaxing spot with a homey, cabin interior.
  : The lower shower doesn't work. The upper shower door is off the track. The door jam on the lower door is loose. The microwave is scary. It overheats, then stops working. But, worst of all is the security system saying all night, every 10 minutes..."low temperature detected." What the hell? All night long! It was fun, but fix the place, please.

  : The house is not far from the main drag of Arnold. 10 min drive to Big Trees State Park and about 30 mins up the mountain to Bear Valley and sno-parks. It's comfortable, nicely decorated and warm inside and had plenty of rooms for 2 families to stay in. Beds were comfortable with plenty of blankets and clean linens. Showers hot and strong!
  : Toilet paper had nearly run out when we arrived (i.e. just the rolls on the dispensers). We had to drive to the market to get more the next day. The kitchen has a tiny coffee maker that only makes 1 small cup at a time (not great if you are 4 adults). The driveway is narrow and very steep. Would feel uncomfortable getting in and out (even with a 4WD/SUV) if there had been deep snow or ice at the time we stayed.
