Gunflint Lodge - Alexandria

Located 70 km up the Gunflint Trail from Grand Marais Gunflint Lodge is a wilderness resort nestled into the heavy boreal forest on the south shore of Gunflint Lake between the Lake Superior National Forest and the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness. Lakeside cabins feature a stone fireplace in the living room comfortable sleeping quarters furnished with queen and king sized beds full kitchens and many feature private saunas indoor spa tubs or outdoor hot tubs and a washer/dryer.

Justine's restaurant is famous its elegant patio dining overlooking Gunflint Lake and the Canadian border. Canoes kayaks and paddle boards hiking trails and guided Naturalist activities are included with your stay.

In the winter cross country ski and snowshoe rental are included.
